The Rutgers Center for Recovery & Wellbeing

(RCRW) is a state-of-the-art inpatient treatment center providing intensive, trauma-informed care for individuals navigating substance use and behavioral health challenges. Located in Plainfield, NJ, RCRW offers a healing-centered environment where clients receive comprehensive services, including medical, psychiatric, and therapeutic support, in a space designed to restore dignity and hope. Levels of care include inpatient withdrawal management, short term inpatient, intensive outpatient, and outpatient services.

Specialized Addiction Treatment Services

(SATS) program at Rutgers UBHC offers individualized outpatient care to adults seeking support for substance use and co-occurring emotional or behavioral issues. Through assessments, therapy, medication management, and coordinated care, SATS provides flexible, community-centered treatment rooted in evidence-based practices. Levels of care include Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient services.
